Abstract:

The present technology relates to a communication device and a communication method which enable a stable small-delay communication in an unlicensed band to be implemented. The communication device is provided with: a first communication unit which performs a communication in a first frequency band that is an unlicensed band; and a second communication unit which performs a communication in a second frequency band that is an unlicensed band and is different from the first frequency band. A control unit of the communication device controls to transmit data by using any one frequency band among the communication in the first frequency band and the communication in the second frequency band on the basis of information about a resource in the second frequency band, which is transmitted from the first communication device. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a communication device or the like that performs a wireless communication specified in IEEE802.11.
