Abstract:
This communication device comprises: a waveform generation unit (10) that generates, as a SENT communication waveform, signals related to a first detected value and a second detected value acquired from sensors (S1, S2); and a signal output unit (20) that outputs the SENT communication waveform. The SENT communication waveform is composed of a plurality of data regions for which information to be stored therein is determined in advance. The plurality of data regions include a first sensor region (R1) and a second sensor region (R2). The waveform generation unit comprises: sensor data creation units (31, 32) that convert the first detected value into first sensor data and the second detected value into second sensor data; data compression units (41, 42) that compress the amount of data of at least one of the first sensor data and the second sensor data to generate a vacant region in at least one of the first sensor region and the second sensor region in which data is not stored; and a determination information adding unit (50) that adds, to the vacant region, anomaly determination information for determining whether data adhesion anomaly is occurring.
