Abstract:
A communication method and apparatus, a readable storage medium, and a chip system, relating to the technical field of communications, and used for sending, by means of a terminal device, to a network device indication information for indicating resource overlapping of resource pools of two standards, such that the network device can more reasonably schedule resources in combination with the indication information. A first resource pool comprises resources supporting first-standard sidelink transmission, and a second resource pool comprises resources supporting second-standard sidelink transmission. A first terminal device sends a first message to a network device when it is determined that the resources of the first resource pool overlap those of the second resource pool. The first message comprises first indication information, the first indication information indicating that the resources of the first resource pool overlap those of the second resource pool. In this way, the network device learns more resource-related information, such that assistance can be provided for the network device to more reasonably schedule resources.
