Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method, comprising: generating a first reference signal, the first reference signal and a second reference signal being two-dimensionally orthogonal, the second reference signal being the reference signal after the first reference signal is transformed by a time delay τ and a Doppler shift v in a communication process, 0≤τ≤τmax, 0≤|v|≤vmax, and τ≠0 or v≠0, τmax being a first threshold, and vmax being a second threshold, wherein |x| represents the absolute value of x; and sending the first reference signal. For the first reference signal that meets the requirements above, a spreading function of a channel can be obtained by means of a two-dimensional correlation operation during channel estimation. The method for obtaining a channel extension function is simple, fast, and accurate, thus greatly improving the performance of a communication system.
