Abstract:
The present application relates to a communication method and apparatus. The method comprises: a first network device obtaining first QoS information of a first communication network; according to the first QoS information, the first network device determining QoS information, in a second communication network, of data transmitted by means of a first transmission path; and the first network device sending QoS information of a first link to a communication device, wherein the QoS information of the first link is comprised in the QoS information, in the second communication network, of the data transmitted by means of the first transmission path, and the first link is a link between the communication device and a next-hop device on the first transmission path. The first network device can decompose QoS information of an industrial Ethernet onto each link on a first transmission path, such that each link can determine according to which QoS information transmission should be carried out, thereby providing a specific implementation manner for a 5GS to adapt to the industrial Ethernet, such that the 5GS is adapted to the industrial Ethernet.
