Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method and apparatus. The communication method comprises: a network device determines N occasions, wherein the N occasions are positioned within a first time range, and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2, the first time range comprises M occasion windows, the i-th occasion window among the M occasion windows consists of Ni occasions among N occasions, Ni is a positive integer, M is a positive integer, and i=1, 2, ..., M; and the network device transmits data in two or more occasions among the N occasions. Hence, the network device transmits data in a plurality of occasions within the first time range, which is beneficial for the centralized transmission within the first time range of large data packets, thereby reducing data transmission delay; in addition, the network device may, when data arrives earlier or later than expected, transmit data by using an occasion, the time domain of which is ahead or behind, among a plurality of occasions, thus solving the problem of data transmission delay caused by jitter in an XR service.
