Abstract:
The present application belongs to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a communication method and apparatus. In a communication system of the present application, a first node receives a resource scheduling message that is sent by an upper-level node, wherein the resource scheduling message carries template identification information, and the template identification information is used for indicating a target slot allocation template to be used; and the first node determines a transmission slot of the first node according to indication information which is included in the target slot allocation template and is used for allocating slots for a plurality of nodes. Since a byte length that is occupied by template identification information is far less than a byte length that is occupied by slot allocation information corresponding to each node, the length of a resource scheduling message can be greatly shortened; and even if the number of nodes in a communication system increases, the length of the resource scheduling message does not increase, such that the number of communication resources which are required to be occupied by a transmission resource scheduling message can be reduced, and more communication resources can be used for performing data transmission between the nodes, thereby increasing the effective utilization rate of the communication resources.
