Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device determining, at a first moment, a first TR pattern corresponding to a first beam, and determining, at a second moment, a second TR pattern corresponding to a second beam, wherein the first beam is a serving beam of the terminal device at the first moment; the second beam is a serving beam of the terminal device at the second moment; and the first TR pattern is different from the second TR pattern. That is, different TR patterns can be used by different beams in a cell, and by means of controlling noise interference, which is generated during PAPR suppression, not to point to a beam direction with a useful signal, the spectrum utilization rate of a system can be improved while the PAPR suppression performance is ensured. In addition, an appropriate number of reserved tones can be allocated to each beam according to the respective requirements of different beams for throughput rates, such that each beam can reach a relatively high throughput rate, and the link budget can also be improved.
