Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of cloud computing, and disclose a method and apparatus for solving an objective function, and a computing device cluster. The method comprises: receiving a solving requirement inputted by a user, the solving optimization requirement comprising an objective function, a decision variable, and a constraint condition; according to the solving requirement, determining a simplex method as the solving method so as to solve the objective function; in the process of solving the objective function according to the simplex method, after the objective function is solved by the simplex method according to a first pricing strategy, determining, according to the objective improvement degree of the objective function currently solved by the simplex method, a second pricing strategy for solving the objective function for the next iteration; and solving the objective function according to the second pricing strategy. The use of the present application can improve the efficiency of solving an objective function.
