Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and device, which relate to a communication device, and are used to enable an AS of a terminal to determine the specific number of members around the terminal, so that the AS of the terminal is able to normally execute a multicast HARQ mechanism. The method comprises: a V2X layer of a first terminal sending a first message, wherein the first message comprises the identifier of a group, and the first terminal corresponds to a first member in the group; then, the V2X layer of the first terminal receiving response messages of the first message, and determining the number of reachable members in the group according to the response messages; and the V2X layer of the first terminal sending the number of reachable members to the AS of the first terminal.
