Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of video processing. Disclosed are a video clip positioning method and apparatus, a computer device, and a storage medium. According to the present application, a plurality of video frame characteristics of a target video, and the text characteristics of a target text are obtained by a video recognition model, one candidate clip matching the target text is determined, the candidate clip is finely divided on the basis of the matching degree between a video frame in the candidate clip and the target text to obtain a plurality of subclips, and a subclip having the highest matching degree with the target text is used as a target video clip. The approach of performing characteristics matching for multiple times, dividing the obtained candidate clip again so as to determine the target video clip makes it unnecessary for the video recognition model to learn the boundary characteristics of the target video clip and accurately annotate a sample video during model training, shortens the training period of the video recognition model, and avoids the problem of low accuracy of the model output result caused by the inaccurate sample video annotation.
