Abstract:
The communication system according to the present invention comprises a network-side device and a user-side device. The network-side device comprises: a transmission function unit for performing a transmission function process upon data received from the user-side device; a quality calculation unit for calculating the quality of media data that has been transmitted from the user-side device and processed by the transmission function unit; and a transmission function modification unit that modifies the transmission function performed by the transmission function unit within a range such that the calculated quality satisfies the quality required by an application.
