Abstract:
This component mounting machine is provided with a component supply device, a first determining unit, a second determining unit, and a timing setting unit. The first determining unit captures an image of a component before the component is collected at a collection position, and performs a supply state determination, for determining the propriety of the supply state of the component in the component supply device, on first components comprising a smaller predetermined number of components than the number of components supplied to a substrate from the component supply device. The second determining unit determines, on the basis of the determination result of the first determining unit, whether a supply state determination is required for second components, which are components supplied from the component supply device after the first components are supplied. The timing setting unit sets, for both the first and second components, an operation start timing at which a holding member for collecting and holding components and mounting the components on the substrate starts a descending operation in order to collect the components.
