Abstract:
A composite heat exchanger (HEX) is applied to a vapor compression type refrigeration cycle (10) including a compressor (11), a pressure reducing unit (16) for reducing the pressure of a high-pressure refrigerant discharged from the compressor, and an evaporator (17) which causes low-pressure refrigerant having a pressure that has been reduced by the pressure reducing unit to exchange heat with a first heat medium and evaporate. The composite heat exchanger comprises: a condensing unit (12); a liquid storage unit (13) for temporarily storing a high-pressure liquid refrigerant; a supercooling unit (14) for causing the high-pressure liquid refrigerant to exchange heat with a second heat medium to supercool the high-pressure liquid refrigerant; and an internal heat exchanging unit (15) for causing the high-pressure liquid refrigerant that has passed through the supercooling unit to exchange heat with the low-pressure refrigerant. The condensing unit, the supercooling unit, and the internal heat exchanging unit are configured as an integral structure (ST) by joining the same together by means of a prescribed joining element.
