Abstract:
A composite material (10) has a first metal layer (21), a brazing material layer (14), a graphite layer (13), a brazing material layer (14), and a second metal layer (22). The composite material (10) has a graphite region (15) in which these five layers are laminated to each other. In addition, the composite material (10) has a metal region (16) in which the first metal layer (21), the brazing material layer (14), and the second metal layer (22) are laminated to each other. The graphite region (15) enables excellent heat transfer. The metal region (16) is used for processing involving deformation or boring processing involving cutting. The metal region (16) makes it possible to process the composite material (10) into a desired shape without causing excessive deformation in the graphite layer (13).
