Disclosed is a composite squeezable gear ring (9) for use in a compression fitting. The gear ring is provided with an internal gear ring (5) and a flexible cladding layer (8). The flexible cladding layer (8) completely or partly covers the exterior of the internal gear ring. The flexible cladding layer (8) covering the exterior of the internal gear ring is distributed on the exterior of the internal gear ring (5). The structure of the flexible cladding layer (8) covering the exterior of the internal gear ring is one or many of the gear ring being a fully rubber-wrapped composite, the outer ring surface of the gear ring being a rubber-wrapping-free composite, the inner ring surface of the gear ring being a rubber-wrapped composite (83), or the lateral surface of the gear ring being a rubber-wrapped composite (82). The composite squeezable gear ring is formed by compounding a rigid flexible metal material and a flexible plastic material. Such structure solves the problem of a gear ring for use in a compression fitting being prone to corrosion, premature failure, and a short service life, thereby resulting in reduced fitting pulling force.
