[Problem] To provide a composition containing a nonlinear optically active copolymer, the composition including a solvent with which the nonlinear optically active copolymer is dissolved with high concentration and the composition obtained demonstrates good storage stability. [Solution] A composition containing a nonlinear optically active copolymer, comprising a nonlinear optically active copolymer and a benzoate.
