Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing one or more of: a novel substance functioning to control in vivo drug dissolution; a novel agent for controlling in vivo drug dissolution; a solid medicinal preparation exhibiting controlled drug dissolution; and production processes therefor.
The present invention provides a composite characterized by comprising tannic acid and a drug (optionally further containing an inert carrier and/or a lower alcohol) and giving, in an examination with a Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer, an infrared absorption spectrum in which at least one of the peaks assignable to the functional groups of the drug is not detected. Also provided are a solid medicinal preparation containing the composite and processes for producing the composite and the solid medicinal preparation.
