Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a composition for pre-wetting, which enables the achievement of a coating film that is free from defects and has good uniformity even if the supply amount of an impurity diffusion composition is low, and which is capable of enhancing the in-plane uniformity of the impurity concentration in a substrate after impurity diffusion; and a method for producing a solar cell, which uses this composition for pre-wetting. In order to achieve the above-described purpose, a composition for pre-wetting according to the present invention is applied in advance onto a semiconductor substrate before application of an impurity diffusion composition, and comprises (a) an organic solvent and (b) an organic base compound.
