Abstract:
The present invention can provide a composition that has high safety, can be used over long periods of time, and promotes the production of VEGF and FGF7 which contribute to hair growth, resulting in an excellent preventive or improving effect on hair thinning or hair loss. The present invention relates to: a composition for promoting hair thickening that comprises one or more selected from the group consisting of citrulline, tryptophan, glutamine, and ornithine; a composition for sustaining a growth phase in the hair cycle and a composition for promoting VEGF production that comprise one or more chosen from the group consisting of citrulline, tryptophan, and glutamine; a composition for promoting transition from a resting phase to a growth phase in the hair cycle and a composition for promoting FGF7 production that comprise ornithine; and a composition for promoting hair cycle normalization that comprises one or more chosen from the group consisting of citrulline, tryptophan, glutamine, and ornithine.
