Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display and, more specifically, to a compound-eye-type display capable of being embodied in a glasses shape by shortening the focus and fully securing the viewing angle thereof. The compound-eye-type display according to the present invention comprises: an image display unit for displaying images; a compound eye unit having a plurality of pin holes and a plurality of small lenses formed in order to increase the viewing angle, wherein the pin holes and the small lenses mounted in the pin holes are spaced apart from the image display unit toward the naked eye in order to shorten the focal distance of the images; a shutter unit spaced apart from the compound eye unit toward the naked eye and having a plurality of opening/closing shutters corresponding to the pin holes so as to prevent the images from overlapping and being incident on the naked eye; and an opening/closing control unit for controlling the opening and closing for each opening/closing shutter by determining whether or not the images overlap between the pin holes which are adjacent to each other according to the arrangement positions of the pin holes.
