Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a compound which enables the achievement of an organic EL element that exhibits excellent heat resistance, while having excellent luminous efficiency and durability life. The present invention provides a compound which has a structure represented by general formula (1). (In general formula (1), each of R1 to R6 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; meanwhile, at least two of the R1 to R6 moieties are alkyl groups; X represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a heteroaryl group; meanwhile, if these groups are substituted, the substituents are alkyl groups; Y represents a biphenyl group, a terphenyl group, a quarterphenyl group or an L-Z; L represents a divalent linking group that is selected from among those described below, and is bonded at the position of *; and Z represents a substituted or unsubstituted naphthyl group, a phenanthryl group, a pyrenyl group, a fluoranthenyl group, a triphenylenyl group, a dimethylfluorenyl group, a diphenylfluorenyl group, a spirobifluorenyl group, a pyridyl group, a pyrimidyl group, a triazinyl group, a bipyridyl group, a terpyridyl group, a quinolinyl group, a quinazolyl group, a carbazolyl group, a carbolinyl group, a dibenzofuranyl group, a dibenzothiophenyl group or a phenanthrolinyl group.)
