Abstract:
This compressor is provided with a sealed container and a compression mechanism unit that is provided in the sealed container and has a compression chamber to compress gas therein. The compression mechanism unit includes: a plate that constitutes a part of the walls of the compression chamber and has an ejection hole formed therein to eject gas compressed inside the compression chamber to the outside of the compression chamber; and a reed valve that is disposed on the plate so as to cover the ejection side of the ejection hole and is capable of opening and closing the ejection hole. The plate is provided with: a valve accommodation chamber that is formed on a surface of the plate on the side opposite to the compression chamber so as to be recessed toward the compression chamber, and that accommodates the reed valve; a valve seat part that is formed on a bottom surface of the valve accommodation chamber so as to protrude from the bottom surface at the opening peripheral edge of the ejection hole, and that has a valve seat surface that contacts the reed valve in a closed state; and a protruding part that protrudes from the bottom surface of the valve accommodation chamber, is provided along the outer periphery of the valve seat part with a groove formed between the protruding part and the seat surface, and is separated from the reed valve in the closed state.
