Description:
CONC EALAB L E TOIL ET SYSTE M COMPATIB L E WITH VAC U UM OR

MAC E RATOR P U MP SYSTE MS

¾ TE C HNICAL FIE L D

The invention relates to a toilet system designed for especially yachts, ships, caravans and similar mobile or non-mobile vehicles, is usable with vacuum or macerator pumps when a vacuum-like flushing system required and at the same time to provide space saving, which is preventing water from being poured down from toilet ¾Ί bowl while toilet is closing, and height adjustable from the floor while toilet bowl is open.

P RIOR ART

Toilet bowls are building materials that must be kept in not only in the living areas, but also in all type of travel vehicles for people. In all mobile and non-mobile ¾ vehicles like yacht, ship, caravan, bus, train, aircraft etc. the bathroom spaces with the toilet inside are very small , and the mobility of a person is very limited in almost all of them and the toilet bowl is narrowing the bathroom area.

In our patent document entitled xoncealed toilet system " with application no: 2017/07963, the classic household wastewater flushing method by using only the gravitational effect is modeled. In cases where this type of water-siphon flushing method is not suitable, macerator pumps or direct vacuuming technologies are used in toilet bowls.

DE TAIL E D DE S C RIPTION OF THE INVE NTION

The toilet system integrated with the vacuum or macerator pumping system and concealable atthe same time can be fixed with special carrier fixing frame (1 ) designed according to the installation area as shown in Figure 1. This carrier fixing frame (1 ) keeps both concealable toilet bowl (2) and all other components inside which perform the movement and flushing operations of the concealable toilet bowl (2).

Control operations for the use and flushing of the concealable toilet bowl (2) can be done with siphon buttons (3) and open-close buttons (3.1 ), which can be found in the existing bath environment or on the front panel of the concealable toilet system as shown in Fig3. With open-close button (3.1 ), the concealable toilet bowl (2) can be opened for use and closed after use. The siphon buttons (3) and the open-close ttl buttons (3.1 ) can be either contact buttons or non-contact (motion-sensing) featured switches.

Central or decentral direct vacuum, grinding or non-grinding electric pump or manual hand pump siphoning systems used in toilet all work with pressure producing principles. Any of the centralized or decentralized direct vacuum, grinding or non- grinding electric pumping or manual hand pumping systems can be used in the concealable toilet system, which are already known and applied in fixed vacuum toilets. The example of macerator pump (5) seen in F ig 3, which can be integrated with the concealable toilet bowl (2), is fixed just below the concealable toilet bowl (2). This ¾ macerator pump (5) can be located at any point of the carrier fixing frame (1 ) or at any point outside of the carrier fixing frame (1 ), which can be stored and fixed to just below of left or right side of the concealable toilet bowl (2). This also applies to the manual pump and all siphon valves connected directly to the vacuum line. The siphon valve is also close in size of macerator pump and can take the place of the macerator pump ¾Ί (5) as a mounting location. Macerator pumps also have grinding blades in addition to the compressor impeller. These blades shred the wastes to be pumped into the sewage tank via tubes or hose lines. F igure 3 shows the difference in diameter between bended internal trap (6) on the side of concealed toilet bowl (2) and sewage outlet pipe (7) connected to the macerator pump (5) on the side of the waste water ¾ ¾ tank.

Vacuum siphon systems are usually used as central systems and more than one toilet can be vacuumed at the same time. In these systems there is a constant pressure difference in the connection line between the toilet water outlet to the central compressor tank and when the siphon button is pressed on the toilet, the valve at the outlet of the toilet is opened and the waste water is vacuumed to the central tank. Compressors of decentralized vacuum systems can also be found under or behind the toilet. Hand-pumped siphons are usually located right next to the toilet bowls. This system, which is similar to the known hand pump, pumps both clean water to the toilet bowl and also black water to the waste tank from the toilet. All these vacuum systems are connected directly to the known / fixed toilets without the internal trap as used in normal household toilets.

The bended internal trap (6) is not heading directly backward like the normal toilet traps, is first prolonging forward, and then continues to bend upwards until the trap outlet mouth is directed to backwards. The water present in the bended internal ttl trap (6) fills in the pre-compartment shown as "a" in figure 4 before the concealable toilet bowl (2) closes. Then, when the concealable toilet bowl (2) is completely closed, the water accumulates in the section shown as "b". The left or right side of the portion under the inner chamber of the concealable toilet bowl (2) is used so that the bended internal trap (6) can be curled in this manner. Figure3, figure4, figure5 and figure6 show an exemplary structure of the bended internal trap (6), and there may be differences in the dimensions provided that the structure of the bended internal trap (6) remains the same. This bended internal trap (6) can be produced integrated with concealable toilet bowl (2), all or part of it can be produced and fixed as a separate part.

¾ The bended internal trap (6) is designed to provide multiple benefits atthe same time. The bended internal trap (6) keeps some clean water it contains after the concealable toilet bowl (2) has been cleaned. While the toilet bowl (2) is being closed upside down, the clean water in the bended internal trap (6) continues to remain in the trap (6) without being poured down from the concealed toilet bowl (2). When the ¾Ί concealable toilet bowl (2) is opened again, clean water comes back to its old place without any water loss. When the concealable toilet bowl (2) is in both open and closed case, this water prevents bad odors that may infiltrate from sewage side as it continues to be found in the bended internal trap (6).The bended internal trap (6) is independent of the siphon systems to be integrated, and is a feature of the fully concealable toilet ¾ bowl (2). Any vacuum siphon system to be integrated will be connected to the outlet of the bended internal trap (6).The connection between the outlet of the bended internal trap (6) and the inlet of the vacuum siphon system can be made directly or with an auxiliary attachment. F lexible hose or normal pipe can be used in this connection. Any of the following methods can be used to bond the connections: agglutination, tightening with a clamp, tightening with a fitting or sealing. The connection may be immediately after the bended internal trap (6) as shown in FIG . 3 or may be extended until to the pump /tank as shown in FIG 6.AII connections for the sewage outlet pipe (7) and clean water inlet pipe with valve (8) may be flexible or swivel featured, in accordance with the concealable toilet bowl (2) which is movable. The clean water in the bended internal trap (6) is filled again after the black water completely drawn out by the vacuum system from the toilet bowl (2) and from the bended internal trap (6), and the amount of clean water can be regulated automatically by the timed clean water valve or can be adjusted manually.

A linear actuator(9) with arm system, which is used for opening and closing ttl operation of the toilet bowl (2), both electrically and manually, does not only open and close the toilet bowl (2), but also can change the height of the concealable toilet bowl (2). With a spring slide bed (10) shown in F igure 4, F igure 5, Figure 6 and Figure 7, concealable toilet bowl (2) continues to be pushed downwards by the motor system after opening, thus the height of the toilet bowl (2) is reduced. While the concealable toilet bowl (2) is being closed, first the spring slides (10) come back to their original position, thus the height of the toilet bowl (2) increases again and then the concealable toilet bowl (2) closes. This movement can be understood from the difference of appearance of figure 7 and figure 6.

¾ There is a radio device in the system of the concealable toilet (2).The radio function can be operated and controlled from radio buttons (4) shown in F igure 1. The radio in the system is connected to the antenna in the yacht caravan or related vehicle and building where the concealable toilet (2) is used.
