Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a conductive polymer member which can be used stably since the electrical resistance thereof varies little even when its circumstances change or current is continuously passed through it. Also disclosed are a transfer roller and an image forming device which enable to obtain a good image by using such a conductive polymer member. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The conductive polymer member is made of a conductive polymer material which is obtained by adding a quaternary ammonium salt and a lithium imide to a base polymer. Assuming the compounding amounts of the quaternary ammonium salt and lithium imide respectively as x parts by weight and y parts by weight, it is preferable that x and y satisfy the following formula: 0.009 ≤ (y/x) ≤ 0.019. The transfer roller and image forming device respectively comprise such a conductive polymer member.
