Abstract:
This congestion alleviation system (1) comprises: a congestion level determining unit (21) that determines a congestion level of vehicles (50-1, 50-2) on the basis of congestion information about the vehicles (50-1, 50-2), and sets a congestion alleviation target corresponding to the congestion level; and a reward management unit (22) that, when the presence of a mobile terminal (30) held by a user inside a first vehicle determined as congested by the congestion level determining unit (21) is specified, distributes guiding information for encouraging movement toward a second vehicle determined as not congested by the congestion level determining unit (21) to the mobile terminal (30) in accordance with the congestion alleviation target, and when the presence of the mobile terminal (30) in the second vehicle is specified after the distribution of the guiding information, grants a reward to the user.
