Abstract:
A method for sewing a slide fastener (20) according to the present invention comprises: a preparation step of preparing the slide fastener (20), a fabric member (10), and an elongated auxiliary tape member (30); and a sewing step of sewing a fastener stringer (21) of the slide fastener (20), the fabric member (10), and the auxiliary tape member (30) together by using a sewing machine. The sewing step includes, with respect to the fastener stringer (21), the fabric member (10), and the auxiliary tape member (30), overlapping at least a part of a fastener tape (22) of the fastener stringer (21) and a part of the auxiliary tape member (30) on each other, overlapping at least a part of the fabric member (10) and a part of the auxiliary tape member (30) on each other, and performing flat sewing by the sewing machine. Thus, the slide fastener (20) can be sewn onto the fabric member (10) more easily and thinner than a conventional method.
