Abstract:
The present application is applicable to the technical field of communications. Provided are a connection method for a network device, and a network device. The connection method comprises: sending a detection instruction to a second network device according to a preset format, wherein the detection instruction comprises protocol identification information and first network address information of a first network device, and the detection instruction is used for instructing the second network device to query, according to the protocol identification information, second network address information that meets the standard of the detection instruction; and receiving the second network address information fed back by the second network device according to the first network address information, and connecting to the second network device according to the second network address information. By means of the present application, network address information of other network devices can be obtained merely by means of the sending of a unidirectional detection instruction when the other network devices are unknown, such that the network devices are conveniently connected by means of a network application program.
