Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of improving shielding against electromagnetic waves. This connector assembly (100) comprises a first connector (1), and a second connector (5) into which the first connector (1) is fitted from above. The first connector (1) is provided with a first shield (4). The second connector (5) is provided with a second shield (8) that is in contact with the first shield (4) in a state in which the first connector (1) and the second connector (5) are fitted together. The first shield (4) has a first curved part (402) that is connected to the lower end of a first side wall part (401) extending along a vertical axis and that curves toward a direction following a horizontal axis, and a protrusion (403) that protrudes along the horizontal axis. The second shield (8) has a second side wall part (801) extending along the vertical axis. In the fitted-together state, the lower end of the second side wall part (801) is positioned above the protrusion (403), and the second side wall part (801) is in contact with the first side wall part (401) above the protrusion (403).
