Abstract:
The problem to be addressed by the present disclosure is to reduce noise caused by return current. A connector assembly (100) comprises: a first connector (1); and a second connector (5) with which the first connector (1) fits together from above on a first axis (D1). The first connector (1) comprises a first shield (4) and a first designated terminal (31). The second connector (5) comprises a second designated terminal (71). The first shield (4) has a first facing section (407) that, in the fit-together state, faces the first designated terminal (31) on a second axis (D2). The first designated terminal (31) has a first terminal-adjacent section (300) where, in the fit-together state, the distance from the first facing section (407) on the second axis (D2) is less than the distance between the second designated terminal (71) and the first facing section (407) on the second axis (D2). A projected area produced when a first wide surface (301) is projected onto a virtual plane (Im1) that is orthogonal to the second axis (D2) is greater than a projected area produced when a first narrow surface (302) is projected onto the virtual plane (Im1).
