Abstract:
Provided is a connector of a novel structure that can suppress or prevent external force due to displacement by electric wire vibration, etc., from being transmitted to a terminal within the connector. This connector 10 comprises: a housing 16 that accommodates terminals 12; a back retainer 60 mounted on the rear end of the housing 16 from which electric wires 18 connected to the terminals 12 are pulled out; cylindrical electric wire insertion holes 94 provided on the back retainer 60; and electric wire pressing parts 70 protruding on the inner circumference surface of the electric wire insertion holes 94. The diameter of the electric wire insertion holes 94 is greater than the outer diameter of the electric wires 18, and the electric wires 18 are held in a state of being pressed on the electric wire insertion holes 94 by the electric wire pressing parts 70.
