In the present invention, a connector comprises a band-shaped conductive member, a connector housing that houses the conductive member, and a regulating member provided on the connector housing. The conductive member has a first end section that can be electrically and mechanically connected to a counterpart terminal, a second end section positioned on the opposite side from the first end section in the longitudinal direction of the conductive member, and a damper section that is provided between the first end section and the second end section, and is elastically deformable in the direction the first end section and the second end section approach one another. The connector housing has a wall provided with an opening in which the counterpart terminal can be inserted in a first direction that follows the longitudinal direction of the conductive member, in order to connect the counterpart terminal to the first end section. In order to limit displacement of the first end section when the damper section is elastically deformed, the regulating member is provided in a region adjacent to the first end section in the first direction.
