Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a consumable chip, a consumable box, and a consumable chip authentication method and use method. The consumable chip comprises a storage module, configured to store authentication data, the authentication data at least comprising first authentication data and second authentication data; and a communication module, configured to output the first authentication data if an access instruction for the authentication data is received in a first time interval, and output the second authentication data if the access instruction for the authentication data is received in a second time interval. In the embodiments of the present application, the consumable chip is not cracked or interfered by an external signal, and has a strong anti-upgrading capability, thereby avoiding the failure of the switching mode of the consumable chip caused by intervention of the external signal, or avoiding the authentication data of the consumable chip from being read and added into a blacklist by a printing device in advance.
