Abstract:
A container height detection device is provided with: a measuring unit (30) that measures the heights of containers in a noncontact manner, said measuring unit being capable of a horizontal sweep; a horizontal data acquisition unit (45) that acquires horizontal position data of the measuring unit (30); a height data set generating unit (46) that, on the basis of the height data of the containers (C) measured by the measuring unit (30) and the horizontal data acquired corresponding to the height data, associates height data with predetermined container arrangement ranges so as to generate a height data set for each; and a container height determination unit (47) that determines the stacking height of the containers in a container arrangement range to be measured on the basis of the respective height data set.
