Abstract:
In order to easily cut a protective film according to the type of article, a protective film cutting system is provided with an information generating device (1) and a client terminal (2). The information generating device (1) has a storage unit (11) that associates a plurality of sets of shape information indicating the shape of parts constituting an article with the type of the article and stores the shape information, and an output control unit (123) that creates cutting data on the basis of the shape information corresponding to a selected part image and outputs the data to a plotter. The client terminal (2) has a display control unit (241) that displays a plurality of part images corresponding to the plurality of sets of shape information associated with the type of a selected article in a first display area which is a partial area of a display unit (22), and a selection receiving unit (242) that receives selection of a part image to be cut from the protective film out of the plurality of part images displayed in the first display area.
