In the domestic refrigerators, a specific container to store mincemeat is not mentioned.

When the mincemeat to be stored in the refrigerator is disposed in the freezer compartment to be used later, without dividing it into portions, it creates difficulty to the user and causes a loss time to take off a portion of it to be used.

Furthermore, freezing the mass of the mincemeat as a whole causes a difference in the time length of freezing and particularly the central region of the mass freezes after the outer regions and as a homogenous freezing cannot be provided, it looses its freshness. Moreover, the whole mass of mincemeat has to be melted even if a small portion of it is to be used and after the said portion is taken, the remaining mass is frozen again which is obviously an undesired situation with respect to the quality and freshness of the mincemeat. This situation also leads to the use of a volume more than required in the freezer and it does not exhibit an aesthetic view as well.

The object of the present invention is to provide the storage of the mincemeat by dividing it into portions of desired quantity so that the desired quantity of the mincemeat can be used when required, by means of separators placed at adjustable distances, in the mincemeat storage container which used as an auxiliary component in the refrigerators.

The mincemeat storing container realized in order to attain the above mentioned object of the present invention is illustrated in the attached drawings wherein; Figure 1, is the empty and open view of the mincemeat storage container, Figure 2, is the filled and open view of the mincemeat storage container, Figure 3, is the filled and closed view of the mincemeat storage container, Figure 4, is the view with the lid open, showing mincemeat as divided by the separators, and Figure 5, is the view of the empty mincemeat storing container in open status with the separator sockets arranged in it.

The components shown in the drawings have been enumerated separately as follows; 1. Mincemeat container 2. Lid 3. Separator 4. Mincemeat 5. Separator sockets.

The mincemeat storing container consists of three main components, namely a mincemeat container (1), a lid (2) connected to the said container (1) by a hinge; and the separators (3) placed in the said lid (2).

The lid (2) is adapted to the shape of the container (1) to which it is connected by means of a hinge so that it moves to close and open the container (1) which can be constructed with the desired dimensions, for example with a capacity to contain 1 kg of mincemeat (4). The separators (3) are placed fixedly in the lid, in parallel to each other, and their ends are provided with a sharpness to

cut the mincemeat (4) when the lid (2) is closed over the mincemeat (4) placed in the container (1).

It is possible to form adjacent separator sockets (5) longitudinally along the lid (2) on its upper surface By tight fitting, the desired number of separators (3) onto the said separator sockets (5) to be formed on the lid (2), mincemeat can be divided into portions of desired amounts.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the separators (3) are placed in the lid (2) in parallel with equal distances from each other, but the number and the spacing of the separators (3) can be changed as desired or required.

After a desired quantity of mincemeat (4) is placed into the container (1), the lid (2) is closed, thereby dividing the mincemeat into portions in quantities suitable to the number of the separators (3). The container (1) with the lid (2) closed, is placed in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator. When the user wants to use mincemeat (4), the container is taken out of the said freezer compartment, its lid (2) with separators (3) is opened and the desired amount of the mincemeat slices are taken out.

Thus, the mincemeat storing container is put again into the freezer compartment without melting the rest of the frozen mincemeat
