Abstract:
The purpose is to avoid congestion on a mobile network over which content is distributed, when certain content is accessed intensively over the mobile network. The content delivery system is equipped with: a packet transfer device for transferring a multiplicity of content delivered over the internet from a delivery server device; a plurality of cache servers, either furnished to or connected to the packet transfer device, for temporarily holding at least certain content from among the multiplicity of content; and a control device for collecting, from the plurality of cache servers, respective frequency of access to at least the certain content, and arranging content to which the frequency of access is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value according to a predetermined arrangement in the plurality of cache servers, as well as arranging the other content in the plurality of cache servers, according to the frequency of access to each content.
