Abstract:
One of the objectives of the present invention is to provide a content playback device with which content which a specified user has instructed to be played back can, without requiring a complicated operation, be output in a location corresponding to movement of the specified user. According to the present invention, a control unit (102) of a receiver (5) determines that a user is in a room in which the speaker closest to a user terminal is installed, and configures a digital audio signal to be transmitted to said speaker, and configures no digital audio signal to be transmitted to other speakers. For example, as indicated in fig. 3A, when the user is in room (1B), speaker (7B) is closest to the user terminal (9). Consequently, content, e.g. music, is output from speaker (7B), and content is not output from speaker (7A) and speaker (7C). As indicated in fig. 3B, when the user moves to room (1A), speaker (7A) is closest to the user terminal (9). Consequently, the control unit (102) of the receiver (5) configures a digital audio signal to be transmitted to the speaker (7A) that is closest to the user terminal, and configures no digital audio signal to be output to the other speakers.
