Abstract:
In the present invention, the metal portion of a caliper body (12) forming a disc brake device for a vehicle is provided with a rust-preventive coating film (20). The coating film (20) is configured from a single layer wherein aluminum, and zinc and/or a zinc alloy, are bound to each other by a binder. The thickness of this coating film (20) is 30 μm or less.
