Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem that, because content proposed to a user depends heavily on the user's past preferences, it is difficult to propose content that is likely to appeal to the user but is unknown to the user. A content proposing device (10) proposes a plurality of items of content to a user. The content proposing device (10) comprises a selection accepting unit (22), a storage unit (11), and an evaluation unit (24). The selection accepting unit (22) accepts selection of content from the user from among a plurality of items of content. The storage unit (11) stores the selection history of content selected by the user. The evaluation unit (24) evaluates the selection tendency of the user on the basis of the selection history. The content proposing device (10) includes a determination unit (25). The determination unit (25) determines, on the basis of the result of evaluation by the evaluation unit (24), a method of electing the content to be proposed to the user or a method of presenting the content to be proposed to the user.
