Abstract:
In a contents distribution system according to the present invention, wherein contents received from a broadcast station are encoded in real time and distributed on a network, a CM signal that indicates whether or not a CM is being broadcast is received from the broadcast station, whether or not a CM portion is being broadcast is detected on the basis of the CM signal, and on the basis of the detection result, the CM portion of the broadcast contents is replaced with a different video and is distributed and played back.
