Abstract:
A control apparatus which can suppress characteristic deterioration of a battery due to recharging and which can save power, and an electronic device and a contactless power transmission system are provided. This control apparatus, which is on the power receiving side in a contactless power transmission system comprising a power transmission device and a power receiving device, includes a charging unit which charges the battery with power received by a receiving unit that receives power from the power transmission device, a discharge unit which carries out a discharge operation of the battery and supplies the power from the battery to a power supply target, and a control unit which controls the discharge unit. The control unit starts the discharge operation of the discharge unit after the output voltage (VCC) of the power receiving unit falls and a startup period (TST) of the discharge operation has elapsed.
