Abstract:
The present invention relates to a control device for an automatic transmission, which, when hydraulically controlling the gear change ratio of a belt-type continuously variable transmission (4) that changes the speed of motive power from an engine (1) and transmits same to drive wheels (5), keeps the gear change speed at or below a prescribed value when the accelerator pedal is off and the engine rotation speed is at or below a prescribed value. As a result, the present invention makes it possible to keep a driver from feeling uneasy when changing gears with the accelerator off.
