Abstract:
[Problem] To propose a control device, control method, and program that are novel and improved and are able to control an optical path length in a resonator in a manner so as to resonate in a mode able to obtain laser light having a higher strength. [Solution] The control device is provided with: a drive unit that, in a resonator containing at least a pair of reflection sections and a nonlinear optical crystal, converting the wavelength of entering laser light by means of causing the resonance of the laser light, and having a plurality of modes satisfying the resonance conditions of the entering laser light, moves at least one of the pair of reflection sections in the optical axis direction; and a control unit that, on the basis of the detection results of reflection light from the resonator, controls the light path length of the resonator by moving at least one of the reflection sections toward the drive unit in a manner such that the laser light entering the resonator transitions from a state resonating in a first mode among the plurality of modes to a state resonating in a second mode differing from the first mode.
