Abstract:
A wind power generation device (14) of the present invention generates power by rotation of a rotor (12) and is grid-connected such that, in order to allow even more power to be supplied to a power grid (20) in response to grid frequency decline, operation is performed with power output pre-restricted. Then, a central control device (16) derives a required amount of restriction which is the power output required for accommodating a decline in the grid frequency, and from the required amount of restriction, derives a value such that the amount corresponding to the potential power output by which the power output can be increased has been subtracted therefrom, sets for each wind power generation device (14), on the basis of the value, the amount of restriction for the power output therefor in order to pre-restrict the power output to accommodate the decrease in grid frequency and operate. As a result, even if the wind power generation devices (14) perform operation in which power output is restricted, it is possible to lower the amount of restriction of the power output.
