Abstract:
A control method for a clothes treating apparatus, and a clothes treating apparatus. The control method comprises the following steps: measuring environment temperature in the case that the clothes treating apparatus is in a drying mode and a heating module is in an off state; correcting the starting temperature of the heating module according to the environment temperature; selectively starting the heating module according to the corrected starting temperature. The clothes treating apparatus comprises a heating module, a temperature sensor, a temperature correction module, and a control module, wherein the control module selectively starts the heating module on the basis of the corrected starting temperature. The start of the heating module can be accurately controlled by correcting the starting temperature of the heating module according to specific operating conditions, and the drying effect of the clothes treating apparatus is thus improved.
