Abstract:
When compared with centralized identifiers, decentralized identifiers have no controller such as a certification authority (CA). Consequently, when a public key is compromised, the problematic public key remains in a repository for a long time, and there is a risk of identity fraud occurring in secure communication using the key. This information processing device detects risks with respect to a first public key managed by a public key repository, restricts updating of the first public key in response to the detection of a risk, and executes processing for cancelling the restriction on updating when authentication of an authentication device associated with the first public key is performed and authentication of the authentication device is successful. As a result, one aspect of the present invention makes it possible to suppress the updating of a key by a third party.
