Abstract:
A welding device 1 comprises: a servo gun 20 in which electrode tips (22b, 23c) are attached to a fixed electrode (22) and a movable electrode (23); a detection unit (101c) that detects an abnormality in the plate thickness of a material being inspected; an inspection jig (30) having a first plate part (34) that is thinner than a specific plate thickness by at least a prescribed amount, and a second plate part (35) that is thinner than the specific plate thickness by at least a prescribed amount; and a press-in jig (40) that is separate from the inspection jig (30). After the press-in jig (40) is sandwiched with a prescribed sandwiching force between the fixed electrode (22) and the movable electrode (23), the welding device 1 inspects the plate thickness of the first plate part (34) and the second plate part (35) of the inspection jig (30).
