Abstract:
A control method and system for an air conditioner. The control method comprises: upon power-on of an air conditioner, detecting the position of a human body (S101); on the basis of the detected position of the human body, determining a region, in which the humidity is large, of the human body (S102); detecting the contour of the region, in which the humidity is large, of the human body, so as to obtain a contour detection result (S103); determining the current working mode of the air conditioner (S104); and controlling the air conditioner on the basis of the current working mode of the air conditioner and the contour detection result (S105).
