Abstract:
A method and apparatus for detecting a ground fault of a traction converter. The apparatus for detecting a ground fault of a traction converter comprises a sensor TV1 for collecting the voltage Udc of a direct-current bus, and a sensor TV2 for collecting the voltage to ground Ugnd of a negative terminal of the direct-current bus; and further comprises a voltage comparator, a direct-current bus positive and negative ground fault determination module, a trigger, a divider, a switch control module, a filter processing module, a multiplier, an integrator and a four-quadrant inverter ground fault determination module. The problems of an existing method for detecting a ground fault of a traction converter can be solved, various ground faults can be detected on line in real time, without the need for shutdown and complex detection logic, and moreover, an input ground fault end of a four-quadrant rectifier and U, V, W phase ground fault ends of an inverter can be differentiated.
